Dr Anand Singh is an  experienced respiratory consultant at West Hertfordshire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust, where he is the lead for Non-Invasive ventilation and acute Respiratory care (High Dependency) as well as part of the subspecialty Interstitial Lung Disease and Sleep Apnoea teams. In private practice he works closely with the multi-disciplinary team including Radiologists, Physiologists and colleague consultants from the Chest Clinic.  

After completing undergraduate and postgraduate training, he undertook advanced subspecialty training at Glenfield, Royal Brompton and Harefield Hospitals, and worked as part of the award winning team (BMJ Respiratory Team of the year 2021) running the Covid High Dependency unit. 

His MD thesis was in Obstructive Sleep Apnoea, and he has undertaken fellowships in Interstitial Lung Disease (such as Fibrosis and Sarcoidosis) and Sleep medicine. 

Dr Singh mentors candidates for the European Diploma in Adult Respiratory Medicine and has written resources for the respiratory medicine specialty certificate exam.

Dr Singh believes in providing patient-focused care at a high standard for all patients with a wide range of respiratory conditions

He has won the Winter Warrior Award at Glenfield Hospital in 2018 and Above & Beyond Award in 2019 for his work.

Dr Singh currently sees patients privately at OSD Healthcare, in Hemel Hempstead and the Circle Syon Clinic. He sees a range of patients with Respiratory issues, such as cough, breathlessness, Asthma, COPD and takes a specialist interest in obstructive sleep apnoea and Interstitial Lung diseases
